Can I use my own domain for email?

Yes. Mailboxes are created on your own domain, such as name@yourcompany.cat. If the domain is registered with Intergrid the mail DNS is configured automatically; if it is elsewhere, we tell you exactly which records to add.

How do you protect email from spam and spoofing?

With SPF, DKIM and DMARC authentication, which validate where your messages come from and stop anyone spoofing your domain, with inbound spam filtering and with intrusion detection and prevention on the server.

Can I read my email on my phone and in my usual mail program?

Yes. You can use webmail from any browser, or set the account up over IMAP or POP3 on your phone and in whichever client you use, such as Outlook or Thunderbird. Every connection is encrypted with SSL/TLS.

Where is my email stored?

In data centres inside the European Union. Messages are encrypted in transit and also stored encrypted on the server, and backups stay within the EU, so you keep control over your data.

How much does it cost and how much space does each mailbox get?

The service starts at EUR 3/month excluding VAT. Mailbox space is set by your contract: if you run short, the limit is raised without changing service or moving any messages.
